***The girl named Aught looked up at me and smiled as she waved goodbye. Then, with a ground shaking explosion, she soared under her own power off into the night sky, leaving a trail of golden light behind her.

Ratasudaryu stood next to me and wept. I put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, even though I knew he could not be comforted.

"One day," he said softly, "The people of Aught will look into the stars and know where they came from. All their wars will cease, all their strife will disappear, and in one voice they will say, 'We don't need to be slaves to our history. We are anything we want to be. We are Aught.'"

That was the last I saw of Aught or of Ratasudaryu before he died. I took it upon myself to tell the world that for a short while the manifestation of an entire world with all its inhabitants from beginning to end made our world its home.

Eventually, the dreams subsided, but I never forgot.***

Trying a different style this time. I was gonna color it, but i just liked the lineart too much.

This is based on a story arc I'm creating in City of Heroes' new Architect system of making custom story lines and missions. Fun stuff
